Doby Springs Park & Campground

Doby Springs Park and campground, located 8 miles west, 2 miles north of Buffalo on Highway 64, is complete with a fishing pond, nature trails, picnic areas, and playground equipment for the children. The park also has 18 camper sites with electricity and a dump station.

Camp sites may be rented by contacting the Doby Springs Golf Course caretaker at 580-735-2654 or the city clerk at 580-735-2521.

Park fees are as follows:

Camp site fee = $10.00/night
Senior citizen camp site fee = $ 5.00/night

 

Doby Springs Golf Course

Doby Springs Golf Course, a PGA rated (68.1), 9 hole Par 36 course, is located 8 miles West, 2 miles North of Buffalo on Highway 64. Cart sheds, clubhouse and on-grounds caretaker, the course has Bent Grass Greens and irrigated fairways. Come on out for a great family outing.

Weekday green fees (per 18 holes) = $ 10.00
Weekend green fees (per 18 holes) = $ 15.00
Cart rental = $ 15.00 per 18 holes
Membership fees = $250.00/year (family or individual)
Cart shed rental = $ 75.00/year

City Parks

The city park is located on the west side of Buffalo. The well maintained park contains playground equipment, charcoal grills, picnic benches, sand volley ball pit, shade trees, and family fun. The park is the center of Buffalo's Fourth of July celebration hosted by the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce. Activities include games, good food and fun for the entire family .

Buffalo Municipal Swimming Pool

The Buffalo Municipal Swimming Pool, located next to the High School complex, is a heated, covered, eleven foot deep, public swimming pool with 2 diving boards. The pool is open to the public during the summer months.

Kids Incorporated Sports Program

The Kids Incorporated youth program includes summer baseball, softball, and T-ball programs coordinated through community effort to provide summer sports. The fields are available for use by Buffalo Schools as well as the public. The fields are host to many ball tournaments including the annual Fourth of July co-ed, slow pitch, softball tournament. The ball park contains a concession area as well as restroom facilities. All of the fields are equipped with lights for night time use.
